National Labor Observatory held a meeting with the Premium Residency Center
As part of efforts to strengthen institutional cooperation

In a move aimed at enhancing data integration and supporting modern work patterns, the National Labor Observatory held an introductory meeting with Future Work Company at its headquarters in Riyadh. The meeting focused on exploring frameworks for joint cooperation to strengthen and expand the national data system, keeping pace with the rapid transformations occurring in the Saudi labor market.
The National Labor Observatory presented a range of its key indicators, including data on employees in flexible and remote work, and its localization dashboard, which provides accurate insights into labor market performance. Future Work Company, for its part, presented a comprehensive overview of the latest freelance statistics for 2025, highlighting the growth in the number of freelancers, their geographical distribution, and the most in-demand professions, such as sales and marketing, design and creativity, and data science.
The two sides also discussed ways to unify efforts to develop data tracking and documentation mechanisms, with the aim of building an integrated and reliable national database that supports decision-makers, researchers and the private sector. The meeting concluded with a working session to discuss a future cooperation framework aimed at aligning initiatives and maximizing the use of products and data available to both parties, in order to serve the strategic objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing human capital and enhancing the attractiveness of the labor market.
