Overview of the Saudi Labor Market in the Private Sector for February 2024 

The National Labor Observatory released a report outlining the state of the labor market in the private sector for February 2024. The report indicates that the total number of employees in the private sector reached 11,155,053.

Workforce Details:

Saudi Workforce: The number of Saudis working in the private sector is 2,343,677, including 1,381,987 men and 961,690 women.

Non-Saudi Workforce: The number of non-Saudis is 8,811,376, including 8,462,484 men and 348,892 women.

New Entries:

In February 2024, 26,694 Saudi nationals joined the private sector for the first time.

The report reflects ongoing efforts to enhance the participation of Saudis in the labor market and achieve gender balance.
