The National Labor Observatory organized a workshop titled "Foresight Analysis for the Trade Sector," attended by a number of Ministry of Commerce employees and relevant teams within the Observatory.
The workshop aimed to enhance alignment in the areas of support provided by the National Labor Observatory to the trade sector by reviewing the outputs, preliminary data, and analyses obtained, in addition to identifying key next steps.
The workshop discussed current labor market trends in both supply and demand, as well as the future outlook indicated by the data. Participants also discussed several forward-looking reports and analyses specific to the trade sector, which will be developed over the next phase. These reports include analytical reports and future monitoring covering various topics, most notably future professions and skills, as well as key trends that contribute to shaping the sector.
This workshop is part of a series of workshops organized by the National Labor Observatory with various sectors to develop forward-looking reports and analyses for a number of priority sectors, as part of the Supply and Demand Foresight Unit's plan for forward-looking products. It's worth noting that the National Labor Observatory recently organized two workshops with the municipalities and housing sectors and the tourism sector.
